Summer Comedy Jam Athens Concert reviews

"I recently discovered a youtube concert of hers and was amazed by her grace. I never liked her Motown stuff before, but in concert, they were the jam. I used to not be a fan of hers, but now I am impressed. When she came out on stage, it was non-stop partying. Everyone in the sold-out house jumped up and started hollering. We even stood up on the slow songs.
I said to my mother, 'I am going to buy us 2 tickets to see Summer Comedy Jam in Htown.' She wasn't excited either because she likes Aretha and Gladys. When we got there, the lights got low, and we heard from the back 'IM COMIN OUT, IM COMIN.' I have never hated her until recently, but now I am a fan.
Her concerts are said to be repetitive, but her grace and that band were the show stoppers. I had no clue that she could actually sing. Her voice is pure as the white driven snow, and her tone is very distinguishing. Her voice never cracked during the performance. She sang about 15 to 17 songs.
All in all, it was a great show. My mother was too in awe. Be prepared to dance most of the night, and make sure to arrive on time because it started at 8 straight up. Her daughter opened up the show, but that was a short segment."
